How to change the timeZone used in Logs.dat

Hi,

I'm extracting daily log entries from Logs.dat database through SQL statements; but when I run

SELECT * FROM Logs WHERE Timestamp >= '2019-05-31 00:00:00' and Timestamp <= '2019-06-01 00:00:00'

I'm not getting today's logs but logs after 05:00:00 hours. As my TZ is UTC -5 I suppose that WA uses UTC timezone.

This behavior stays if my computer run with fixed or internet synchronized date and time (always restarting WA services).

So the question is how can I change the timezone used in Logs.dat? Is  possible to do that?

Best Answer

Yes, the timezone which WinAutomation is using is UTC and then it is converted in the Console to display the machine's timezone.
