Ability to use JQuery in CSS Selectors

JQuery can do some things that CSS selectors cannot, like work with values inside of elements.

I am thinking Not, to you question above, as the above are methods  ,,,,, a Softomotive support person will need to answer this for sure.

You can use the jquery selectors in the link below, perhaps, it may have enough to accomplish what you need?

It does support JQuery selectors, like "contains", 'has",  etc

Thanks for the reply, but is dot syntax possible?  Example: using .closest() or .find()
