checking for a Word ("Done") in an excel sheet.

Hi,

i have a word ("Done") in 16th column, second row after the header, in an excel.

I would want my function run only if that column in excel contains the word "Done" or else it should give an error.

Please someone help me on this.

Hi Jenice,

If you are sure about the position of the word in the excel sheet, you can use the 'read from excel worksheet' action directly on that single cell and the retrieve the word.

You can then employ a condition, if the retrieved value is 'done' execute the function or else throw an error.

Hope this helps.
