Runing a task in Task Scheduler with SoloBot

Is there a smooth way to connect to a server (RDP) and run a Task in Windows Task Scheduler?

Or do I have to use actions in UI / Windows for alle the steps?

Best Answer

1,  You can just RDP to Server (Use Run Action to run the "xxxxxxx.RDP"  File)   from your process studio script, open the run box on the server and execute the Schtasks command in the run box.

2.  Or, In your process studio - process,
you could use Run Dos command action (executing - windows "SchTasks" - Run command.) and execute on your Solobot.

check the syntax at a windows command prompt for ...
schtasks /?

schtasks /create

schtasks /delete

schtasks /query

schtasks /change

schtasks /run

schtasks /end

Thank you for fast reply.

I will use this simple PS script in an action:

Enter-PSSession -ComputerName serverName

SchTasks /Run /TN TaskName

Exit-PSSession

Peter Riis,
That is a very nice,  method ... powershell remoting.
