SQL style guide in winautomation

hi, 

Where is a sql query style guide in winautomation?

like case, if , ... ,etc 

I can't find winautomation style query basic 

example file is so light, no helpful to me.

The only difference in WinAutomation is the usage of variables:

you can replace any SQL statement or part of it with one or more variables.

If you want to use % as a text inside the SQL statement, you need to use \% in order to escape the percentage symbol which is used to call a variable.


Which precise syntax or operation is supported for each case depends on the Database you have connected and try to execute it on.

For example some statements are not supported for Excel documents, some other statements are supported only on the latest SQL Server versions etc...

There is a problem with the above answer.

The DB applied by WinAutomation is MS Access OLEDB.

For CASE WHEN, IIF() must be used.


ex) IIF(expr, truepart, falsepart)


*MS ACCESS syntax is applied
