In case the WinAutomation Services WinAutomation Server Service and WinAutomation Machine Agent Service have not been installed correctly,


then either of the following two (2) options will re-install the Services:


Option 1

  1. Right click on the WinAutomation icon on the System Tray and Select "Exit WinAutomation".
  2. Then click here to download a Service Fix file.
  3. Right click on the executable that have been downloaded and select "Run as Administrator".

This executable will re-install WinAutomation's services.

Once the executable is done, restart the machine and launch WinAutomation again.


Option 2

Run the CMD as administrator and execute the following commands:

  • if your system is 32 bit then execute:

"C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\InstallUtil.exe" "C:\Program Files\WinAutomation\WinAutomation.Server.exe" and then "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\InstallUtil.exe" "C:\Program Files\WinAutomation\WinAutomation.MachineAgent.exe"

  • if your system is 64 bit then execute:

"C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\InstallUtil.exe" "C:\Program Files\WinAutomation\WinAutomation.Server.exe" and then "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\InstallUtil.exe" "C:\Program Files\WinAutomation\WinAutomation.MachineAgent.exe"


The InstallUtil.exe will re-install the WinAutomation Services and the issue will be resolved.
