Instead of using the "exe" files to install ProcessRobot, you can follow the instructions below in order to install the ProcessRobot server and components silently:

Open the Command Line and navigate to the path of the installation files folder.

ProcessRobot Components

Run the following command for the components:

ProcessRobotSetup-X.X.X.X.msi /quiet CMDLINE="CONTROLDESK=TRUE PROCESSSTUDIO=TRUE DASHBOARDVIEWER=TRUE DASHBOARDDESIGNER=TRUE RBSIDEBOT=FALSE RBSOLOBOT=TRUE CREATEDESKTOPSHORTCUTS=TRUE SERVERADDRESSES=QA1:6090 INSTALLCHROME=TRUE INSTALLFIREFOX=TRUE"

TARGETDIR:""C:\Program Files\ProcessRobot\Clients"""

Notes

  • Only one of the RBSIDEBOT, RBSOLOBOT values can be set to true for each machine.
  • The parameters of the commands can be tweaked according to your desired configuration.

ProcessRobot Server

Run the following command for the server:

ProcessRobotServerSetup-X.X.X.X.msi /quiet CMDLINE="SERVERIP=RP1 SERVERPORT=6090 CONNECTIONSTRING=""Password=Password123; Persist Security Info=True;User ID=ProcessRobot;Initial Catalog=ProcessRobotDB;Data Source=RP1\SQLEXPRESS;"" LOGSCONNECTIONSTRING=""Password=Password123; Persist Security Info=True;User ID=ProcessRobot;Initial Catalog=ProcessRobotLogsDB;Data Source=RP1\SQLEXPRESS;"" USE_REDIS=TRUE REDIS_SENTINEL=TRUE REDIS_NODE=testnode REDIS_ADDRESSES=pr1:6379 REDIS_SENTINEL_ADDRESSES=pr1:6379 REDIS_NODE_ADDRESSES=pr1:6379 REDIS_PASSWORD=123 REDIS_MASTER_NAME=testmaster TARGETDIR:""C:\Program Files\ProcessRobot\Server""

Notes

  • The Master Key wizard that starts in the end of the server installation cannot be suppressed at the moment.
  • The red part of the above command is optional.
  • Use the "LOGSCONNECTIONSTRING" parameter only in case you want to install the Logs in a separate database.
  • Use the parameters "USE_REDIS" "REDIS_SENTINEL" "REDIS_NODE" "REDIS_ADDRESSES" "REDIS_SENTINEL_ADDRESSES" "REDIS_NODE_ADDRESSES" "REDIS_PASSWORD" "REDIS_MASTER_NAME" only in case you use Redis (for multiple PR Servers).
