The purpose of the "Active Directory" Actions is to facilitate IT Automation.

Before we are able to use these Actions effectively, it is important to understand the dsquery command.

The dsquery command can be executed via Command Prompt on that "Domain Controller" machine and helps us fill the relevant Actions.

In the attached screenshots you can find sample usage of the Active Directory Actions.

Additional notes:

  • In order for all the "Active Directory" Actions to be able to successfully be used, the respective component that runs the Action needs to be launched as an "Administrator".
  • When an Active Directory User is created via the Action, it is highly advised that the "CN=Users" is included, for proper visibility in the "Active Directory Users and Computers" Management window.
