ProcessRobot supports the ability for multiple Robots to execute Processes on a single Windows Server.

This means that Solobots can autologin to the same Windows Server machine through multiple RDP Sessions.

To configure BotStack, feel free to proceed as below in the machine where the Solobot is installed:

  • Verify that the settings within the attached "Multi-Solobot hosting on one Server.pdf" have been applied.

  • Verify that each Solobot user (Settings -> Robots -> Solobot -> Auto Login") can manually connect to the machine via RDP, as this is a prerequisite.

A possible issue could be that a user account is not authorized for remote login, as can be seen in the attached "RDP manually - Connection denied" screenshot.

In such a scenario, the relevant user would need to be added to the "Remote Desktop Users" group. For more information, feel free to review this article (External Source).

  • Should issues persist, check the following via the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc)
    • The "Allow users to connect remotely by using Remote Desktop Services" option is enabled.

Path:  Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services -> Remote Desktop Session Host -> Connections

    • The "Allow log on through Remote Desktop Services" option includes both the needed user(s) and their group(s).

Path: "Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> User Rights Assignment"

  • Finally, you can check the Enable / Disable Multiple RDP Sessions option (the article is an external source).
